Considering I have 900+ photos and two weeks of experiences in Italy that I *still* haven't posted, and realistically speaking won't be able to make into a coherent LJ post, I am going to go for something a bit different. I'm going to upload the highlights to a Facebook album and tag all my buddies, hopefully I'll be able to use the captions to show everything I found interesting in Italy.
I'll tag people I know might be interested in travel/history/whatever in the first pic of the gallery but if you haven't been tagged by midnight or something and you'd like to see the pics then let me know. |

For all intents and purposes I'll be gone to Italy once I've posted this message. I'll be gone in online terms from the 1st-14th (I will check emails and shit if I find a cheap internet cafe but that's about it). I wont be mobile contactable, outside of an emergency, from the 1st-12th.12th-14th I'll be back in the UK but I won't be in Sheffield or online, but you can ring me or text me if you REALLY WANT.
Have fun everyone, see you all when I get back - especially DT people on the 12th :) |

Got my letter from UCL now, I am being made the offer on the basis of;
"The offer is made on the condition you are awarded your degree this academic year with at least upper second class honours"
Which seems likely at this point.
Leicester have made me an offer for a 2:2, London 2:1 and Liverpool have acknowledged my application but not responded so far. I'm not sure what to do, my gut level response is to go for London both for the quality of course and for the experience (a.k.a. gig heaven), on the other hand I'm not sure whether I should accept the place till I have a reply from Liverpool and have visited the departments at Liverpool/Leicester.

This journal will now be 100% private as I no longer feel secure in posting about my life to the outside world because of recent stuff and me misjudging the appropriateness of re-posting private emails (an obvious screw-up on my part, but still). Whilst this is an obvious mess-up on my part I also didn't ever appreciate that my life would be interesting enough non-friends would be reading about it. It's also kinda creeped me out that people have been reading it anonymous. Friend's only from now on... them's the breaks I guess.
I'll take this opportunity to sort out dead profiles and so on from my friendship account, If you wish to be re-friended, leave a comment on this post.Current Mood:  annoyed |
